ItS baically human adaptability on different region with thier natural occurence.Three pigments contribute to skin color: melanin, carotene, and hemoglobin. Of these, only melanin is made in the skin. Melanin is a polymer made of tyrosine amino acids. Its two forms range in color from yellow to tan to reddish-brown to black.

Due to natural selection, people who lived in areas of intense sunlight developed dark skin colouration to protect against ultraviolet (UV) light, mainly to protect their body from folate depletion. Evolutionary pigmentation of the skin was caused by ultraviolet radiation of the sun. 🤓👍

You are right that there is very hot environment in Africa but you missed this point…..due to excess exposure in sunlight, the secretion of melatonin is increased in them, .
